# Canvas blocks reference

Every block on the Tyzli Movies canvas, with its inputs, outputs and price.

Films in [Tyzli Movies](/movies) are built from blocks. This page lists each one, what it takes in, what it gives out and what it costs.

## All blocks

| Block | Inputs | Output | Price |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Text | None | Text (idea, style or script) | Free |
| Photo | Your uploaded image | Image | Free |
| Image | Text, Photo or Image (optional) | A key frame | Price of the image model |
| Video clip | Image or Photo | A 5 or 10 second clip | Depends on the video model |
| Voice-over | Text | Narration audio | 4 credits per started 600 characters |
| Final film | Video clips, Voice-over | The finished MP4 film | Free |

## Block details

**Text.** Holds an idea, a style description or a script. Connect it to other blocks. When connected to an Image block, its text is added to that block's prompt.

**Photo.** Upload your own picture, for example a product or a character. Connect it to an Image block as a reference, or straight to a Video clip block to animate it.

**Image.** Generates a key frame. A connected Photo or Image is used as a reference, which helps keep a character or product the same across shots.

**Video clip.** Animates a connected Image or Photo. Choose the model, the camera move and a length of 5 or 10 seconds. See [Camera movement](/guide/camera-movement).

**Voice-over.** Reads the connected text word for word. Details in [Voice-over](/guide/voice-over).

**Final film.** Cuts connected clips in order from top to bottom, adds the connected voice-over and puts short fades between shots. Up to 12 clips. One film can be cut at a time.

## Connecting and removing

- Drag from the **pink dot** on the right of a block to the **purple dot** on the left of another block.
- Remove a block with the **Delete** key or the **bin icon**.

## Running

Each block has its own **Run** button with its price. **Run all** runs frames first, then clips and voice, then the film, and shows the total estimate.

> [!NOTE]
> The order of clips in the film follows their position on the canvas, from top to bottom. Move a clip block up or down to change its place in the film.
